I have been running International Childfree Day since 2013, when it was brought back from being celebrated as “Non-Parents Day” in the early 70s. Each year childfree people from around the world have been nominated for “Of the Year” awards.
This year, Margaret O’Connor from Ireland won the Childfree Person of the Year award, and the International Group, We are Childfree, won the Group of the Year award!

For nine years now, it has been a wonderful way to recognize amazing childfree people and their lives around the world, as well as educate and foster acceptance of the childfree choice.
