Today is International Women’s Day! This Day has an interesting and powerful history. I like wikipedia’s description, as overall, it is a day that “commemorates the movement for women’s rights.”
Today, I am inspired to post this short film that is adapted from the upcoming film, [M] otherhood, by SUICAfilms.
Part of reaching full reproductive freedom includes the affirmation and societal acceptance of the female identity beyond motherhood. I look forward to this film as one of the many contributions toward making this acceptance a reality in today’s society. Check out SUICAfilms’ short film:
